I welcome you all to Gramonnati Mandal’s B.Ed College, Narayangaon. This college has grown into a premier educational institute in the north Pune district of Maharashtra due to its beautiful campus, impressive infrastructure, seasoned and devoted teaching and non-teaching staff, co-curricular and extra-curricular activities and student-centered approach. We believe that vision is not enough, we should venture to higher goal. In line with the views of Guruvarya R. P. Sabnis and Gramonnati Mandal, the college has been striving hard to develop students with rural background into self-sustained, skilled, and employable citizens. Along with regular, mainstream education, we focus on skill development. Formal education gives students living; professional education gives them fortune. We need the interface of education and industry so that students become amalgamation of mature minds and skilled brains. We have undertaken several such skill-based programs and courses that offer skills and inculcate human values in students.

Gramonnati Mandal, an educational institution, was established in the year 1944. The institution was established with the aim of providing quality and useful education to the people of rural areas. This institution provides facilities for basic education, technology education and agricultural education from kindergarten to higher education. The institution has provided educational opportunities to students from rural areas from KG to PG. This institution is a beautiful confluence of education, rural development and advanced technology. The institution has a total of 20 departments, out of which one of the branches of the institution is Gramonnati Mandal's College of Education (B.Ed.) Narayangaon. Keeping in mind the aim of producing teachers who can teach from rural areas as well, the institution established the College of Education. Due to the lack of colleges of education in villages, children had to go to cities like Pune and Mumbai. But the establishment of the College of Education definitely reduced the problems of the students.
